Went through the same thing, got a shipment last week (Monday, August 10th), returned it and the two replacements: Three times it was the low end version, regardless what the box read... It does have facial recognition, but that's a little spotty. I find I have to enter my passcode a few times a day, which given the cost trade-off, I think is acceptable. **Q: What case can stay on while the tablet is docked? Can this item?** A: Any cover that leaves the contacts and 16mm on both, back and front free along the long side can stay on. I think there are none. However, it should be possible to use a USB-C cable for charging.
