This HVLP spray gun worked really well. I needed a gun with a 2mm tip to spray latex paint. This gun came with 3 tips, from 1.4mm to 2mm. I have used this gun to spray latex paint and clear coat. It did a really good job. I was surprised given its low cost. I definitely recommend this product. Update on 6/3/26: The knob that controls the fan size literally fell apart and came off the spray gun, exposing a screw underneath after about a month of use and regular cleanings after each use. Turns out this is not a product defect, but a result of me “dunking” the top part of the spray gun into the solvent, lacquer thinner. After re-reading the directions, I found that the directions clearly state to NOT put the top of a gun into the solvent. I did a little bit more research and found that lacquer thinner will dissolve plastic, and now I see the result. Just wanted to warn others about this, and to definitely not put the top of the gun into either lacquer thinner or mineral spirits. I haven’t tried to use it in this condition, bought the same gun again and won’t dunk it in solvent.

This is a very cheap spray gun IMO but I have had really good results with mine and I have used it quite a bit. I’ve sprayed oil base and latex enamel and it sprays pretty good. You need to have the right air pressure and dry air. You need to get the settings right on the gun. The paint needs to be thinned properly and the right tip for the paint of course. These things need done for any spray gun though. I’m not a professional painter but every time I have used this it has looked better because I have learned which tips work best for the different applications and paints I use it for. Spend the time and clean it properly so it will work next time I would suggest. I know this has mixed reviews so maybe I just got a good one but whatever the reason I really love mine and it is way better than what I would expect for the price.

I got this gun because it came with multiple sizes of fluid tips and needles. I am using it to spray auto primer surfacer, which is very viscous and requires a large diameter fluid tip. Very good choice for that purpose. The gun needs to be fully disassembled and cleaned thoroughly before the first use, as there was a moderate amount of metal shavings and packing grease inside the body of the gun. Like others have stated, the factory installed fluid tip is extremely tight and quite difficult to remove. I was able to get it loose without breaking the supplied tool, but the tool was starting to spread out before it finally released. There is no reason for the fluid tip to be installed so tight!

Works decent for a high-build primer gun with the largest needle/cap combo but does not atomize very well, could just be my thick primer though. The blue powder coat on this dissolves when the gun is cleaned and it makes a little bit of a gummy mess. You’ll need an Allen wrench (I think 5mm?) to fully disassemble the gun in addition to the wrench included. Overall, a decent choice for high-build primer gun due to its large available needle/cap option, but I recommend something else for every other paint/primer - go to Harbor Freight for them. The cup did leak a tiny bit where it mated to the gun body but not an issue.

When you buy cheap don't expect much. This gun is poor quality. First the tool to remove the nozzle does not remove the nozzle it just slips. I had to use a vise grip to get the nozzle off. Second the adjustment screws don't do much adjusting. They seem to operate in an on off mode no fine tuning. Lastly, the gun spray sporadically. Somethings it will spray material out the nozzle then something it won't and the material will spray out from the top and sides of the cup. Spend the extra money and get something better. Amazon sells a neiko brand spray gun, which is a budget gun but much better quality.

I already own two guns that are very similar, but they are 1,300 miles from here. Tip was installed with a hammer torque at the factory--extremely hard to remove and change to one of the other tips. The supplied tool is a joke. Be aware the tips, needle and atomization are a matched set--do not mix them up! Very too small o-ring in the package--it gets stretched over the fluid nozzle, if it doesn't break. No tool supplied for the fluid nozzle joint--necessary to properly clean out residual paint. Thankful that I am very familiar with this style gun and have used one for over 15 years.

DIYer, used gun to spray primer, base and clear. Good gun for what I need

Very efficient delivery and product arrived in good condition and was as described. This was a gift for Christmas so I did not use the spray gun, but the receiver is very happy with how it works.

I have used this gun to paint my car that I am restoring, works fine and lays paint down very well. Although not for the professional, this gun will do a good job for the restorer of a vehicle.

Bought this in 2024.....put it in the bin in 2025. Spend a bit extra and get something good.

Order was missing filter for gun, 1.7 size nozzle / attachments and multipurpose spanner. Would not recommend this item.
