P60, Replacement Lamp, 65 Lum

Perfect replacement, works well.

To CLARIFY, I thought I wrote a review for this item already and went to check. I saw all the negative comments and started reading. Either there are Two (2) different types of lamp assembly being dispersed or there's some other kind of mix-up taking place. First, the item I ordered arrived earlier than predicted and well packed. It also looked Exactly like the picture listed AND the Original lamp housing I received IN my Surefire P6 directly from Surefire when I originally purchased my light directly FROM Surefire years ago. Secondly, I have the P60 Lower Power lamp housing (which died and needed replacement), the P61 High Power lamp housing (which is Still functioning and chews through batteries in 20 minutes as opposed to an hour for the P60) as well as the 85 Lumen Original LED Replacement housing for the Surefire 6P (which is also no longer made - why I'm ordering from this seller). I've owned this light for years and I'm quite familiar with interchanging the headlamp assemblies, what they look like and how they work (amount of light produced as well as beam focus - a Surefire trade mark). While the internal packaging of the item I received was Generic, the item itself seems totally genuine. By that I mean: it is absolutely identical to the failed unit it replaced in: look, labeling, label color, construction detail, light output and beam focus! I have no complaints so far and fully intend to revise this review should my knowledge of the item or it's performance change in future. I can offer no other help on the seeming disparity of the reviews for this item or the wide, mostly highly polarized, range of satisfaction for the item reviews. It does seem as though people are either thoroughly please or rudely confronted by the items detail and quality. I for myself have no such complaint as of yet, we shall see.

As described

The product itself was perfect, but Amazon (who filled the order) packaged it very poorly. This item, which included a lightbulb), wad packed with a heavy item and virtually no padding in the box. Fortunately there was no damage, but I will be ordering any future items of this nature separately from any possible heavy items to avoid the risk.

Easy to replace. Bright light, a perfect replacement for the original lamp

My 20 year old Surefire G2 stopped working. I replaced the 123 batteries to no avail. The only other culprit was the bulb. No one near me had one, so I took a chance on this one. Eureka! Now, my old friend is ready to light the night when I take my dog out back to do her stuff. VERY NICE, and thanks very much for being there.
