It is louder than the booster fan I was using before. I will comment in a month or so to report on how effective the filter is at containing the aromas. Hoping it works as my last grow was very pungent. This is the first day but it does work with good air flow. Lots of negative pressure with the walls of the tent sucking in. Temperature is 2 degrees lower with 2 cob LED lights from the booster fan setup last grow. I left some holes opened at the bottom but ended with a bug problem** A: Get a 6inch intake fan also and it will equalize the pressure. I won’t buy anything from Vivoson all junk. Get a real inline fan from any other company would be better. I can hear my fans 30 feet away outside my house they get super loud. Total junk. And I thought they were quiet lol. Took about 2 weeks before the bearing started to go out. Dont get screwed by this company like me and several others. **Q: Where does the ducting go when it leaves the tent? What should be set up, if anything?** A: The ducting can end just on the outside of your tent, as if it was just an output fan pushing pure air out. It doesn't need to go anywhere but into the room. **Q: “Hi, how do i firmly attatch this fan to the carbon filter before hanging in my tent?”** A: Great question because the brace does not work. I McGrubered the crap out of my set up....probably an easier way than duct tape, lift hooks, bungees, and adding weight to the back of the filter by another hanging object I have to ensure to does not come apart. So far, working...also, have to duct tape with hose to the fan...that brace did not stay in place. **Q: Is the 6inch good for a 4x4x6 tent?** A: This thing sucks the walls in on my 4x5x6. Be aware though, you will need to clean the filter probably once a month due to the amount of air this thing moves. It's NOT quiet, but I enjoy a fan humming in the background so no biggie. I would put the filter inside the tent with the cloth cover on, run the duct outside, hook up the fan outside.
