Review: Great backup camera kit - I am very pleased with this camera kit. I really prefer the camera image in the mirror over an image in the center of the dash like all newer cars have so I am glad I found this one. I installed it in a 2013 Mazda 3 hatchback about 2 months ago and it has worked flawlessly since. Happy with the camera quality and mirror. The installation took me a few hours taking my time to remove trim pieces, etc to have a nice clean hidden install. The kit had everything I needed and more than enough wire length. The only issue I ran into during install is there is some sort of inline fuse plastic thing on the wire that goes to the reverse lights. Because I have a hatchback and the reverse lights are in the hatch portion this somewhat large inline plastic piece on the wire made it difficult to route and find a place for it to fit under the interior trim of the hatch. I wish this piece had been in a different location inline, maybe closer to the end of the wire, but everything worked out fine in the end.

**Q: Can someone verify the mirror itself (not the backup image) dims at night? I just ordered this & tried it out & only the image dims .**
A: I have been very happy with this product. The only complaint I have is what you describe, at night there is glare in the mirror from headlights behind me.
 The back-up camera functions very well.

**Q: will this fit in a 2010 honda accord coupe?**
A: Included bracket mount adapter fit loosely on my 2010 honda civic (or 06-11). Ended up buying the Subaru H501SSA041 adapter mount and it fit perfectly!

**Q: Will this product work on a 2005 F-150 Crew Cab???**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great backup camera kit

I am very pleased with this camera kit. I really prefer the camera image in the mirror over an image in the center of the dash like all newer cars have so I am glad I found this one. I installed it in a 2013 Mazda 3 hatchback about 2 months ago and it has worked flawlessly since. Happy with the camera quality and mirror. The installation took me a few hours taking my time to remove trim pieces, etc to have a nice clean hidden install. The kit had everything I needed and more than enough wire length. The only issue I ran into during install is there is some sort of inline fuse plastic thing on the wire that goes to the reverse lights. Because I have a hatchback and the reverse lights are in the hatch portion this somewhat large inline plastic piece on the wire made it difficult to route and find a place for it to fit under the interior trim of the hatch. I wish this piece had been in a different location inline, maybe closer to the end of the wire, but everything worked out fine in the end.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Toyota Tacoma great install and good camera

I installed this in a 1999 Toyota Tacoma extended cab. The length of the cable was perfect! After installing the camera at the rear and wiring into the brake light wiring, I ran the cable alongside the existing wiring up to the cab. Under the driver seat is a big grommet that you can pass the cable through. You'll need to remove the seat to get access to the grommet inside. Then up the A pillar to the top of the windshield and over the mirror. This Tacoma had the mirror mounted to the cab above the windshield. I had to buy the metal mount and adhesive. Then the mirror/monitor mounted just fine. In the end, it's a nice clean install. The white balance is a bit strong. But not too bad. The mirror when not being used as a monitor appears to be tinted which might be great at night with bright LED headlights following you. It's nice to have the camera and I'd recommend it.
