Cleans pots and pans and dishes of stuck on food particles. If you are a petite person it may not be the ideal for you as it is a bit heavy but for the rest of us it is very helpful. Did I mention that it is water proof? It will clean other furfaces like tubs, too. All round all purpose tool. For that last stubborn particle put a brillo pad or scrubbin cloth or just salt between the particle and the device and it will clean it fast. This way it does not take as much pressure, easier on the wrist. It is a work horse! My concern with this one was that it was battery operated (as they all seem to be now). This was the best one I could find through my searches. It was well worth the effort. This product works great and has sufficient power despite being battery operated. Easy to use and clean up. The first time I used it was to take crud - a lot of crud - off of a stove top and burner pans and where the food spilled underneath the pans. Worked like a champ, but ate up the little scrubber that came with it.I went to Home Depot, and tried the cleaning section - nothing. They sent me to the electric tool department, where they thought I was crazy. I tried Target, and found nothing. I don't shop at Walmart, and I rarely get to Ace Hardware, which were the other two choices I thought might work.
