Review: I am upgrading the whole stereo in my 24 Crosstrek, as the oem system is absolutely awful. I first had some Kicker 46csc in the dash and found they were extremely bright with a lot of sibilance on cymbals, Ss and Ts. These Infinity Refs definitely round out that sound better, albeit they feel like they need more power than the oem subaru stereo puts out, so I have an inline amp on order. I have used Infinity Refs in the past and always had good luck with them, nice value compared to Kappas. There is no bass to speak of, they merely work on the high freq sounds as expected. They dropped right in the OEM tweeter holes without modification, other than crimping onto the speaker wires.
