Great Movie. DVD is in excellent condition. Will definitely buy from this company again. Also priced good.

Sylvester Stallone is a disgraced emergency services worker who becomes the man of the hour when a New York City tunnel collapses. He exceeds his authority to descend into a toxic hell to rescue survivors from fire, rising water, crumbling infrastructure, rats and poisonous air. Textbook disaster flick that provides some real thrills and scares. Each character has their own arc, but none get in then way of Sly’s story as a man fighting for redemption. The special effects are all top drawer and perfectly integrated. The main tunnel scenes were shot in Cinecitta’s largest soundstage which was converted to a third of a mile of Lincoln Tunnel. And the scene of Sly making his way down past a series of cyclopean ventilation fans is pure nightmare fuel.

This movie has generally tended to get bad reviews. While some of the acting is cheesy and some of the scenes are completely implausible, it is still an interesting action movie. The premise is that an accident at the mouth of a tunnel from Manhattan causes the tunnel to not only be locked, but also in danger of flooding and collapse. Passengers trapped inside have to try to find a way out with the water rising. An ex transit cop who supposedly knows the tunnel like the back of his hand volunteers to go into the tunnel through a ventilation shaft to try to lead the trapped people out. While much of the action borders on the ridiculous with many last second escapes and impossible feats, what makes the movie interesting is the odd venue for an escape movie like this. It's interesting to visualize how a tunnel is built and what might happen if someone were trapped in one. This movie didn't win a lot of rave reviews, but it's worth checking out if you like action movies.

I remember watching this as a kid so as an adult I wanted to see how it held up. Honestly great movie, lots of suspense. Definitely one of his better movies. Would recommend.

I am happy to share that I enjoyed the movie, and it arrived at my house safely with no scratch. I love the actor Sylvester Stallone and the movie taught some principles that may be beneficial to society. It is a good learning tool, and the story was great according to my observation. I do not have much to say, but for those who have not watched it, just give it watch :)

Very very hard to find, no matter where you look online A great movie holds up today was done with ILM for effects ( best in the business or was for many years dif Jurassic Park terminator etc ) This is a great action adventure, for the family , for a boys night , or just a movie night If you have seen this it’s a great nostalgia movie This is Sky’s last big hit. I was released on 4K only a few got delivered in the states , due to it been pulled. Don’t pay €300-€500 euro for the UHD4K Blu ray This looks amazing & will be back out in the future in 4K But it could be years. So buy this are they are like gold dust, Great visuals and soundtrack acting is great the way it holds up as a lot was done in camera or miniatures that look amazing If you own a Blu ray player or PS4 or PS5 same with X-Box it will ups did it to 4K anyway on most players & consoles So grab this. I got this. It said very good condition. It’s like new not a mark on it. The case bug most importantly the disc is perfect You get lots with it too. Extras. A great find for anyone who loves disaster movies This twister Dante’s peak volcano Deep impact Armageddon etc BUT…you need to add DAYLIGHT to your collection If you have not seen it. In short a tunnel in NY explodes trapping people in the middle 70+ feet under water ( a tunnel under a river ) Both ends are blocked , the air is bad , they are trapped and who will make it That’s daylight in a very short take but does it no justice The acting and editing & sound are amazing! Delighted with my copy. 5 stars with this vendor for sure!
