72570 Glass Milk Container, Clear

I recently integrated the Jura 72570 Glass Milk Container into my morning coffee workflow, and it’s a definitive upgrade from the standard plastic carafes. The glass is tempered well and feels substantial in the hand, lacking the fragility often associated with high-end glassware. From a design perspective, it’s remarkably minimalist; the clear silhouette allows you to monitor the milk level with total precision, which prevents any mid-latte interruptions. The connector tube integrates seamlessly with the Jura machine, maintaining a hygienic seal that seems to keep the milk fresher for slightly longer than my previous setup. I did find the lid can be a bit finicky if its not aligned perfectly, but once you get the hang of it, the vacuum seal is solid. we had the counter top cooler. the lid began chipping and needed to be replaced. we went with these because it opened up counter space and could easily slip into the fridge. there is no issue with fluid draw and they are easy to clean, dishwasher safe. the cooler was a large footprint on the counter and didnt work for us well because my wife likes the coconut milk and i like dairy. two of these were more efficient for us

Though pricey for what it is, I really like this milk container, especially in comparison to the Miele stainless steel milk container. First and most importantly, the tube and connector that comes with it are compatible. Second, unlike the Miele milk container, this one is completely machine washable. Miele tells you to clean the milk container daily but it’s all hand wash so daily (or even every other day) is a huge pain!! Now, I think daily is kind of overboard so I clean this Jura one every 2nd-3rd day or so (and I keep it in fridge). Also, I think it keeps the milk fresher than the Miele container (where the milk would start to smell off by the 3rd day). Finally, the connector at the end of the Jura tube is somewhat larger than the Miele ones — which actually allowed me to use oat milk easily! I like the taste of oat milk but for some reason the Miele tube — or rather, the connectors — were really constricting the flow of oat milk. The Jura connectors had slightly larger holes in the connectors and this allowed oat milk (which I guess has more particulates) to flow freely. Neat! I found a place that sold Jura connectors and am replacing the Miele connectors on all 3 of my tubes with the Jura ones. Wasn’t expecting that this Jura container would solve my oat milk problem so I am stoked.

I like the convenience of keeping the milk in the glass container in the fridge and using it, putting it back right away when I’m done. The milk stays fresh and doesn’t have a chance to get warm. The container is easy to clean. Just make sure you have the plastic end of the hose inserted all the way. We love it!

Finally works! After spending over $500 on the other top of the line cooler milk system that worked really bad, I downgraded to this one and honestly works much better than the expensive one. Good quality.

If you are using Jura super-automatic espresso makers, this is the low-priced option for a storage solution to make drinks with milk in them. It is of course massively overpriced for what it is, a borosilicate cup with a lid and metal straw, but if you're willing to shell out for the Jura machine this is practically nothing, and it works as advertised. But something you should factor into how you use it is that milk starts to curdle much faster in this container than in the one you bought your milk in. I only use ultra-pasteurized milk, which lasts in the fridge for about a month or so, but in less than a week the milk in this container will start to go. You'll see the effects in clumping as the milk mixes with the coffee in your cup; instead of a fluffy white foam you'll get a kind of scum you have to spoon off, although there won't be much change in actual flavor, at least in the beginning. So if you aren't using enough milk to completely empty the container in 3-4 days, the solution that I use is to never fill it more than about 1/2 - 1 inch full of milk, enough for 1-2 drinks at my drink settings. Then every couple of days I give it a quick wash to make sure no old milk is sitting around in the container. It does cut down on the convenience of the container somewhat, but it's not too bad. I think the next step up is one of their refrigerated units, but those cost hundreds and if they didn't completely solve the problem it would be quite the waste in money, so this is still the best solution for me.

I added this Jura glass milk container to my espresso setup and it really elevates things. The glass feels sturdy yet elegant, and the stainless steel milk lance is positioned just right so milk can be drawn in cleanly for frothing. It’s compact (holds 0.5 L / ~16.9 oz) so fits easily in my refrigerator door when I’m not using it. Cleaning is easy — all parts go in the dishwasher — which saves me time and fuss when running multiple guest suites. If you care about presentation and function in your coffee/café-style setup, this is a very smart buy.

This entire kit is high quality - thick glass, lid with silicon seal, tube, etc. It's a little smaller than I expected - it will only hold about half a quarter bottle of milk. But it a good size that is not too big in the fridge. There are several unexpected advantages. With the glass I can see exactly how much milk is in the container and when it needs to be refilled - unlike putting the milk in a mug or pitcher. Also I have some flavored oat milk which is a bit strong and some plain oat milk, and this jar allows me to mix the two. If you are letting it sit out, it's covered from dust and insects compared to a mug too. And lastly, you don't need to clean it daily if its put i the frig promptly. I suppose you could even have several of these with different types of milk or oat milk if there are multiple people wanting different things
