(product when shipped)** A: 40lbs or so. Comes in really small cardboard box. You will never get it back in box once you take out though! This thing is super dope BTW but doesn't last very long. I took out maybe 12 times and had to throw it away. *** I was by no means gentle with it.... Used it as a party boat with many naked bodies drinking and attempting backflips off it. It gets holes and after about 100 bicycle tire repair patches I had to say goodbye. Make sure you get an electric pump. hand pumping is a major buzz kill. You'll need an anchor too (I used a rope and 45lb dumbbell). Big time chick magnet so you have to regulate rules about backflips. Also: keep dogs off... They try to dig through it. Hope this helps. **Q: How much does it weigh when deflated?** A: Is it super heavy when deflated? **Q: How does it inflate. Does it come with a pump?** A: I do not recommend ever using an air compressor unless you really know what you are doing, and even then I don't recommend it. This does not come with a pump. There are many affordable electric pumps for sale on Amazon and i think every garage should have one, especially if you have kids. The cigarette lighter pumps are affordable and work well but it may not always be convenient to use one. I recommend a regular air pump that plugs into a standard wall outlet. Separately I purchased a power inverter (also not expensive) that hooks up to the car battery and then I can plug my air pump into the power inverter. It's one extra thing to tote around but I use my air pump at home 10-1 vs using it on the road and would not want to be tied down to a cigarette lighter. **Q: When in the middle of a lake, how hard is it to get back on the float?** A: The answer is easy if there is no wind, hard if it is windy. I usually move it out with a Kayak and without people on it, that is fine. It was amazing and we all had so much fun relaxing and playing on it. It was so sturdy that we didn’t feel like we had to baby it. It took about 15 minutes to inflate with a power inflator we purchased at Home Depot. I would suggest getting a good quality inflator as it’s a huge raft. There were no downsides to this purchase. I would suggest that they do away with the cheap cooler/lunch bag that they include in the purchase. We tossed ours in the trash halfway thru the day. It doesn’t keep water in or out and it didn’t keep anything cold. Two suggestions: 1. Power inflator is a must. We got battery operated one from the power tool section at Home Depot. No way we would want to use a foot pump for that thing! 2. Purchase a big/deep tote or a heavy duty bag to store it and carry it around. It’s 56 pounds and doesn’t fit back in the box.
