Super informative and easy to follow

This book is a thoroughly good read to introduce you to the idea of efficient food production on a small plot, and effectively bypasses the more traditional folklore-based practices of traditional home veg growers. Various named theories of intensive growing are explained and appraised. There is good science here, explained clearly, and with sufficient information and references to explore further. Although the writer's experience is in New England, the book makes it very simple to convert everything to a place with different climate. I read the book through in a couple of days. It was something of a page turner! I am now using it as a reference for development of my own far-from-perfect plot.

The book has a lot of short good informations. But the book only came in a cargo bag. No protector covers or cardboards. Not even in a classic Amazon envelope thats hard. I bought the book first hand. but it came damaged and with little rips on the cover.

O livro é maravilhoso. Muito bom . O problema é que o entregador atirou o produto no pátio da casa e estava chovendo. Daí até pegarem o livro a embalagem tinha alagado por que tava chovendo muito, O livro ficou muito molhado, não tinha plástico protegendo. Achei que fomos prejudicados nesta compra pela atitude do entregador que se tivesse sido num horário que não tivesse alguem na casa, deveria ter voltado pro depósito. O livro secou mas ficou com as folhas enrugadas. Estragou!!!
