The Shurhold bristles are gentle enough for the pebbles and travertine, cleaning them without leaving any marks, and tough enough to clean everything thoroughly. The brush itself feels very durable and well designed, with a little "bumper" around the rim that protects surfaces and edges from getting knocked by the wooden base of the brush, and the bristles are very well constructed... Haven't lost any yet. I love it! I really like the "extra soft" brush and totally recommend it for pretty much any task that deals with a larger surface area. I was worried it would be too soft when I ordered it, but it is just perfect. We are now thinking of getting another one for cleaning our solar panels outside.
