I thought I would add my own 2 cents for this purchase. First of all, for those who say this is light weight material. Yes, some of it is, but for the placement of your most important equipment (television), it is more than capable. It took my wife and I to lift up the box to take it down here to the man cave. She actually put it together in 45 minutes. Pretty much by herself. She loves doing this stuff. All parts present. No nicks dings or anything else. I have a 55 inch Sharp TV and it fits perfectly on the shelving. I was also able to put CD, DVD, Amp and cable box into this.I purchased the cherry which is a lot more black than cherry, but still is a very attractive piece The shelving on either side is not very big at all. I wasn't expecting much. The dimensions are the dimensions. It fits where I placed it perfectly after looking at the measurements here.I have been looking for a nice, smaller, unit to replace some stuff that I had literally thrown together. This was the year I decided to upgrade to something nicer. And yes, for $120.00 dollars, I am extremely happy with the purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great looking, durable and affordable stand *by K***R on December 9, 2013* First off, let me start by saying this stand looks great and feels very sturdy. I will note there was a little nitch in the front that may have been caused by it getting banged up in shipping or production, but it was not large at all.This is heavy. I would recommend two people for putting it together, though it could be done with one. The pieces are numbered, so it is easy to see what you need; however, some of the directions are tricky if you are not good with those weird diagrams with little in the way of worded instructions. It will take some time to put it together ( would say at minimum 30 minutes), but all you need other than what is included is a screwdriver.All in all, I would recommend this stand. It looks nice and seems quite durable. While the directions could have been better, it was much easier to put together as far as pieces fitting, etc. then most products you buy that are not assembled. Another bonus is the shelves within the cabinets are adjustable- so you can move them a little up or down depending on what size you need.Update 12/10/15: I have now ordered an additional one of these and it was not damaged at all.Though this still took me around an hour to put together, the only part I struggled with was putting the latches on as the holes weren't drilled out enough. If I had been using a power screwdriver it probably wouldn't have been an issue. Also, I have 55" Visio TVs on these and they fit fine. The new TV has feet on the end (rather than the support in the middle), but it still fits fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Probably the best TV stand for this price range *by Y***L on December 30, 2015* The package was a long thin box. It was fairly protected, with foam around the outside and thin foam films between the pieces. I was surprised at how compact the box was. Pieces fit tightly in there like a puzzle. As an engineer, I appreciate the thought put into the packaging design. The box itself had some damage marks on it so I checked the pieces for damage. They were all well protected and damage free.For assembly, I had just a multi-bit screw driver. The whole process took about on and off 2 hours, with a lot of that wasted on the door assembly. Most of the holes that require wood screw were pre-drilled with holes, so assembling them with screw driver wasn't too bad. However, the holes for the door panel hinges were not drilled. Along with the instruction steps of attaching the hinges to the body before attaching to the door, that made assembling the doors a hard task. For the second door, I laid the panel on the ground and screwed the screws half way in first as a pre-drill and that helped. If the holes on the doors were pre-drilled, I would have given this a 5 stars. Rest of the assembly was smooth and the instructions were intuitive. I would suggest moving the hint of "the hinges were adjustable" to before the hinge installation instruction, so customers won't OCD on centering the screws perfectly for the attachment. Unlike pictures shown in some previous reviews, the flat table pieces were all solid one-piece instead of jointed 3 pieces for mine. It seems there are two versions of this.As a finished product, the stand is gorgeous. The assembly is cleverly designed. It's very heavy and sturdy and should not have any problem supporting any TV that can fit on it, then plus some. Due to the price, it is compressed wood with a laminated finish, so the expectation for the surface finish durability should be scaled to the price. One of my small piece had the lettering sticker half off the edge of the piece, so when I ripped the sticker off, it peeled a little bit of the surface finish off the piece. Lucky it's not a a visible place with the finish product. This piece of furniture isn't expected to see a lot of use or abuse, so I expect mine to last for years to come.Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.
