Does it massage you? Like the nodes move?

It massages only if you gently move your torso while laying on it. Once you have it correctly positioned, the nodes penetrate deeply into the trigger points. I really like it. it gives me the opportunity to release tight muscles in places where one cannot reach (from neck to lower back) by oneself.

A picture shows it affixed to the back of a chair. Is it really designed for that.? That would be good because I need to moderate the pressure

I wonder which picture you are looking at? I never saw a picture with it affixed to a chair. I simply use it flat on the floor and with a pillow for head support, I align it to my spine. Another note: this 'Little Mum' really eases tense muscles along the spine. If you try it and don't like it, you can always send it back.
