This includes wires, through hole components, drag soldering for SOIC/TSSOP works OK with this also. Unless you're working with with parts very close to each other this will be fine. My three common tips are a very fine pitch chisel, a coarse chisel, and this tip. **Q: What is the shank diameter on this tip?** A: It fits my FX-8801 perfectly.
