Black bugs in rice after 4 months- rice kept in cool, dark cupboard
This is my favorite Basmati rice, favorite brand. I have kept this rice before and it’s lasted years in a cool, dry cupboard. Just made rice, washed it beforehand, only to see very small black bugs rise to the surface when the water boiled. Was able to remove them, but very disappointed in product’s freshness.
