Delphi GN10571 Pencil Ignition Coil

Purchased these Delphi GN10571 pencil ignition coils for my 2012 Mini Cooper S after pulling a misfire and cylinder failure code. To confirm the issue, I swapped coil #1 with #2, and sure enough, the code followed—clear sign it was the coils. I bought the full set of six since it was a great deal and arrived next-day with Prime. I did check other sources like FCP Euro, which had a slightly lower price, but their shipping would’ve taken over a week. Local auto shops wanted $50–$70 per coil, so this was by far the most cost-effective option. Installation was very straightforward: unplug the electrical connector, then pull the coil straight out. Mine had likely never been changed before, so they were stubborn. Wiggling them gently back and forth while pulling made it much easier. I chose to replace all four coils at once rather than just the faulty one—better to do them all at the same time for consistency and peace of mind. After replacing, I cleared the codes, and no misfire codes have returned. My Mini is running smoothly again. Overall, this is a high-quality OEM part at an unbeatable price. If you’re chasing down a misfire, I highly recommend grabbing the full set and replacing them all at once.

This was a great purchase as these are an OEM part. My BMW runs great and gas mileage is way better. They are very durable and last along time. Delphi makes great parts and for the price I paid on here, you will never find them any lower. Super easy to install perfect fit and engine doesn't have rough idle anymore.

Have a 2011 328i N52 that was pulsing rpm at idle and would cut power sometimes during acceleration. Took a look at the timing per cylinder and saw a degradation withing the ignition. I already had all 6 Delphi but that was at 100k miles. Currently at 160k miles and needed to replace. Car is running like new now. Delphi at this price cant be beat. (Picture are the old Delphis)

They worked perfect, very pleased. They fit fine. Took about 10 minutes to install and the car runs perfect again. Will buy again hopefully not too soon.

The box looks old without seal, product not in a protect bag or wrap, the dirt on the product is original. I am not sure about the product itself as I do not feel comfortable to install it and never installed it. Follow up: I subsequently bought 6 more items hoping to get good ones, but they are the same: unprotected coil in boxes not sealed. I then realized they are just packaging issue, not used ones. I wipe out of the dir stuck on the rubber portion of the item, and installed them. The car runs fine, misfire stopped, so I upgraded the rating from one star to 4 stars leaving one star off for packaging.

Just installed them . They work wonderful. Same ones at auto zone were $50 more per ignition coil. I was a bit hesitant buying thru Amazon as some reviews indicated knock offs. The items received are exactly as described in fact are better than the original ignition coils that were in my car. Better quality and a perfect fit . So far my car has been purring like a cat with the new plugs and ignition coil . My car has 150k miles . Saved a lot of money doing this myself .. honestly an easy install. Going forward I will be buying all my auto parts online . You can’t beat the online price.. it’s literally the same item you will buy at a brick and mortar store.

I found these Delphi ignition coils on here for over 50% off compared to purchasing at my local auto parts store. For my particular BMW these were an OE replacement, which they may even be OEM since Delphi makes the OEM coils. I had a misfire due to what I diagnosed to be a bad ignition coil, I swapped it out and the misfire was gone. Worked great and the quality felt the same as OEM so I have no complaints. Great product and price, would definitely recommend.

Do not buy from Amazon for this item. I attached a photo for comparison from one I bought from Amazon one I bought from an authorized seller. The the box of the one I bought from the authorized seller has very clear print. The one I bought from on Amazon, the print on the box are very vague.

They really transform the engine. I mean, HP and torque numbers I guess do not change but the pull is exceptional. This is my second BMW 128i. The first one was purchased brand new and this one with 37,000km on it. Now it is at about 78,000km and I replaced Bosch ignition coils that started misfiring (BMW meanwhile ditched them for Delphi) and the car runs amazing. I was concerned whether it is a gimmick that could backfire and if you read the comments in this section before purchasing. The only complaints are about packaging, not performance or worse. Mine came all nicely wrapped and then in nice individual boxes.
