I do not recommend if you want it to last. Now I need another one and won't put very hot liquid in it. **Q: Does this set nest?** A: Yes it nests. **Q: are they microwave safe?** A: I called Oxo 24 July 2023 and was told these plastic measuring cups are only made to withstand less than 30 seconds in a microwave oven. **Q: Will the markings wash off over time? My other plastic measuring cups became useless after 6 months because the markings washed/rubbed off.** A: I purchased this exact set back in 2016 and use them frequently. I can still see the markings. I don't know if this made a difference or not, but I have always hand washed them. The cups are also light and easy to handle. The only down side is that the top-view measurement is in cup and oz but we use more of 'ml' rather than oz in my part of the world. Not the product's fault, it just caters to a slightly different need.
