Feels so much more quality for the price you pay, smooth action on the battery release, what is alo handy, you can bolt other stuff on to the opposite side of the battery mount, I had a Tascam 70DR clamped to the other side of teh clamp which you may see slightly in the second picture with my canaon 700D set up. My sony FS700 set up, I have used two of these V lock clamps to power my rig.
