If so what do you look for when buying different estas rockets?** A: Absolutely.! Great for beginners, plus you can always buy the thicker 3/16 rod for launching some of the larger, heavier rockets. Used to do this stuff with my kids many years ago and what a blast. I highly recommend an old time favorite “Big Bertha” it’s very solid and flies great! Have fun!!!! Also, I highly recommend the “fin alignment” stand for assemblies. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works very well *by on Reviewed in the United States 8 December 2022* Excellent lauch pad. We've used multiple times with low and max velocity rocket motors and pad is durable. Very sensitive to direction pointed on launch, so be sure you have it adjusted for the wind:-) Set up and take down is easy and quick. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, Functional *by on Reviewed in Canada 11 March 2024* Well built, supported multiple launches on first outing. Trigger works well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What I needed *by on Reviewed in the United States 19 June 2026* Perfect for launching rockets with my grandsons ## Frequently Bought Together - Estes - 2222 Launch Pad and Porta-Pad Controller II, Red - Estes 2274 Recovery Wadding - MDL RCKT ENGNS 3PC C6-5 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/272734252-estes-porta-pad-ii-launch-pad-and-electron-beam-launch](https://www.desertcart.in/products/272734252-estes-porta-pad-ii-launch-pad-and-electron-beam-launch) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
