DIRECTIONS: Stir can well, do not shake. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and doesn't have grease, oil and dirt on it. For better adhesion, scuff surface with sand paper or steel wool. Coverage will vary depending on amounts of coats used. 1 Large 16 ounce - approx. 20Sq. Ft., 1 Jumbo 32 ounce - approx. 40Sq. Ft., 1 Gallon can - approx. 150Sq. Ft., Brush or roll FLEX SEAL LIQUID using an even sweeping motion. Apply several even coats until the surface has been completely covered and ALL cracks and holes have been filled. Allow FLEX SEAL LIQUID to dry 24 to 48 hours and apply additional coats as needed. Always brush or roll over a larger area than just where the leak occurred. Dip object directly into the FLEX SEAL LIQUID make a slight swirling motion. Once the surface has been coated, remove and let any excess drip back into the can. If they were my chairs I would use felt pads that you can find in any hardware store. **Q: Would a metal surface become insulated electrically after this was applied? Thinking of a tight car battery compartment...** A: Not enough to protect the battery from eventually shorting out. I would recommend securing a thick piece of rubber between the battery terminal and the metal close to it. **Q: How long dose this take to dry** A: It takes at least 24-48 hours for Flex Seal Liquid to dry based on the thickness of your application. **Q: My child has a basketball post with a plastic base that holds water. The base has a leak. Is this product suggested? If so, any prep suggested?** A: Anything works better with a little prep., sandpaper and clean. It should do well.
