The blade shape is really cool and it's very sharp out of the box. I use this for everything and specifically opening Amazon boxes and breaking down boxes. The blade thickness is solid for the size of the knifeI did have to add a little lubricant to the pivot point on the handle where the blade folds. Easy fix.The locking mechanism is smooth and not too tight. This is the second knife I owned, first one was lost to a TSA check (whoops).Just a great pocket knife that's versatile!
