Notably, and I had to wait until the hammer arrived as I couldn't see it written anywhere, the main male thread on the end of slide is M12 x 1.75 (normal M12 course thread), which may help others in similar position. (I bought a female to female M12 adapter, and made a rod with a male thread which is easier.) The whole thing is nicely finished and much better than I had expected.
