It will then ask for YOUR wifi & password, and it will auto connect to that. Be patient. It takes about 20 minutes to set it up. **Q: What is the warranty? Who provides warranty support?** A: All Hunter products carry a 5 year warranty, there is a date code stamped on them. All you have to do is go to a distributor and they will warranty it out. I will say though in all my years, I have only had to replace 1 product under warranty, and I’ve installed and maintained hundreds of controllers **Q: Is this a simple do-it-yourself install (plug/play) or does it require a licensed contractor to install?** A: Yes, it is as simple as plug and play if you have a smart phone or a laptop with WiFi attached to your house network. Just follow the instructions provided with the device. I did mine in just 15 minutes to start the configuration of the irrigation system. **Q: Is this X2 Wand compatible with all controllers no matter the number of zones on your X2?** A: Hello, WAD supports all X2 models, so your model is supported no matter the station count or manufacturing year. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hunter WAND Smart WiFi Module for X2 Sprinkler Controller, Hydrawise App, Remote Scheduling, 2.4GHz WiFi Only, Supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct & WPS Setup - Hunter Industries Hydrawise X2 8-Station Outdoor Irrigation Controller - Hunter Industries Hydrawise X2 4-Station Outdoor Irrigation Controller (X2-400) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/275866041-wand-wifi-module-for-x2-sprinkler-controller-hydrawise-app-control](https://www.desertcart.in/products/275866041-wand-wifi-module-for-x2-sprinkler-controller-hydrawise-app-control) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
