The description given for this product is FALSE and is misleading to those thinking they are possibly getting full treatment of these films.1. This is both films compressed on to "1 DISC" not 2 as stated2. Do Not expect bonus features such as the commentary track, this is a bare boned "1 DISC" version of the films onlyOther than that i have watched them. On the back it shows a combined MPAA rating of "R". I am not sure how they achieved this because it barely has any violence and little gore, no nudity or even swearing. All i can figure is the body parts laying out for the corpse they were going to build was "taboo". You only really saw any effects after the kills... i mean you "see" chopping, but don't really see it, you just watch sorta "over-the-shoulder" style. I seriously believe REVENGE would have a PG - PG13, the 1st really barely got an R i am sure, so they did a "combined" rating on the box.What we actually have here are 2 movies that should have been made into 1 film. Though i thought the writing for REVENGE was a bit better, the majority of BLOOD CULT was fluff - lots of unnecessary talking and inner monologue - driving or just sitting. The 2 movies ARE 1 story, Revenge takes up right after the events of Blood Cult (though they couldn't get some of the same locations) and seriously finishes the story left hanging in Blood Cult. Revenge also has stronger writing and acting.Blood Cult had more gore, and lots of wasted time, Revenge had very little gore but wasted less. There are effects i.e. latex masks and slime, a fried chick and a foot in a trap. If these got an R rating... yeah right. Oh and suspense? Basically none. The plot does have a decent twist though.These movies should be watched together if anything to complete 1 story. Would i rate it higher than 2? Not really. The locations were great and the acting was meh... Revenges' acting was stronger - the effects were decent for what they did, but to say these movies have a high rewatch value especially with NO bonus materials is a lie.Only true collectors need apply here. ### ⭐ OH what fun.
