I took the 6 per day with no problem, then ordered these and struggled to place them right in my mouth so I could swallow them. If they had been a tablet there's no way I would have swallowed it but the capsule makes it doable. But these are the largest capsules I have ever seen or taken. I just finished the bottle and ordered the 6 a day ones again. Even though it is more to take it is just a lot easier to swallow them. **Q: ok, any dexa scan results that show this does any good? I've got to talk dr out of shots so am desperate.** A: My Osteo seems to be holding steady from recent tests. Main thing is physical activity, very important. I started on Bone UP when hearing a talk that it is one of the few calcium supplements that actually can rebuild bone. I have no proof, but it seems OK. I was told by a friend to add more Vit. K. also lots of leafy green vegetables have calcium. Check online. Best of health! **Q: This formula (3 per day) does not mention the word Stimucal as the original and ultra do. Does that make a difference in how well it works?** A: I have also noticed and am not happy with the change in the formula. They have significantly reduced the amount of magnesium from 500 mg to 166.7 mg. **Q: For osteoporosis, which version (ultra, boneup 6 or boneup 3) can rebuild bone better? Which is better for diabetic?** A: Long answer but after taking Bone Up for years along with my prescription for Alendronate Sodium for my Osteopenia (FREE from Medicare) I found out that taking calcium is not the most effective to build bone. In fact, research on line revealed that Vitamin K-2 is FAR MORE effective. See what you think.I take 100mcg. These included all of the vitamins I was looking for. You are supposed to take 1 pill with each of your 3 meals a day and those 3 pills per day equal the nutritional values listed on the label. While smelling the inside of bottle itself, it doesn't smell great, but I don't notice any smells from 1 pill at a time. My only real complaint is that the pills are LARGE.
