Effective and durable
These eco sponges are brilliant. I bought a pack of 4 in December and only now have brought into use the third one. 2 months+ use out of each sponge is remarkable. They work really well and whilst they don’t scratch they are still effective. Contributing to less plastic pollution is the best win of all. Very impressed

Clean with a conscience!
I'm trying to wean myself off the supermarket-bought sponges completely, and these provide a great alternative. They're much more environmentally friendly, and I know I'm not putting microplastics into the water system. This is a small British company trying to make a difference, and the sponges are great. Although the loofah side is not quite as flexible as the plastic ones, you soon get used to that. When I feel the sponge needs a clean, I put it in the washing machine with a hot wash, although I have seen people suggest they can go in the dishwasher; they last longer than the plastic ones. I haven't tried composting them yet, but I will put the current one in my compost bin to see what happens.

Great with some caveats
These are as good as the traditional plastic green/yellow scourers that we’re all used to - with a couple of caveats: Pros: Clean just as good as plastic scourers Last longer Refresh well in dishwasher No plastic bits coming off in your sink Cons: Price - obviously a lot more expensive, yes they last longer but still pricy. The looser side is prone to splitting especially if you catch on a sharp object like a knife - annoying if it happens early on in the life cycle. Overall I think I will stick with these.

A product that changes life-long habits
I must leave a review because this is a super product. Bought them end of February is now late April and I am still on the first one still going strong, so I am believe they will be cost effective. They feel good in the hand, don’t smell and do the job well. Initially they feel a bit stiff compared to the standard sponges but I did not really mind and over time they do soften. If we protect our waters as well, and what goes in our bodies it’s a definitely win win.

Big quality decline
We've bought these for years as they used to be great and last for months without splitting or breaking. Since a few months back now, newly ordered sponges are different, they're thinner, split and start disintegrating in a week or two! So disappointed, sad it might be time to look for another alternative.

I FULLY RECOMMEND THESE ECO SEEP SPONGES
They are expensive, but I bought a pack of 4 from Amazon two months ago. Still using the first one that isn't showing any signs of wear or looking discoloured (see photos). It was a bit stiff to use at first but soon softens. It gets boiling water poured over it frequently. A traditional sponge would have worn out by now or be looking very grotty and unhygienic. For those who are not sure, the scouring part is made of loofah, a vegetable, and the sponge part is made of wood pulp cellulose. They are compostable apparently.

Great kitchen cleaner and no shedding of microplastics down the sink!!!
Each one lasts months and can be steralised in microwave. Hand soap also keeps them looking smart. Really enjoy the no plastic and know that it is not shedding microplastics down the sink!

Good in principle, poor in execution for the money
I like the sustainability of these, but they’re just not as good or long lasting as the normal sponges. They’re also a lot stiffer than normal sponges but I got used to that quite quickly. The problem is each has lasted a week before the scourer half detaches from the sponge half. Both halves are generally in good nick and would last a lot longer, so it’s a shame they don’t stay stuck together. I’ve also had the sponge bit get torn by a knife and once broken it started shedding bits of sponge over everything. If they were the same price as a normal sponge I might live with it, but when you’re comparing £3/sponge to 17p/sponge, I’d expect more.

Closest to the conventional, worth the price
I always keep getting back to them. They are the closest to the conventional, plastic ones. I love that they are compostable and have a cute design. Steep price but worth it.
