Is this considered a high performance coil?

I would say no. It is a stock replacement, and basically the price reflects that. I bought it strictly so I could use normal replacement coil wires (the OEM coil wire has a connection that is different than your standard generic coil wires and I didnt feel like tracking and buying absolute original wires and paying $$)

Does this fit 4.9 ltr six cylinder ?

So not knowing the exact model, I ran this part number against a 1992 f-150 which has a 4.9L 6 cylinder and it fits. I suspect it being just a coil that it fits most ford 6 cylinders from 80s and 90s at least. You can enter vehie information on Amazon and it will tell you if it fits or not, so if you don't think your application is ose enough to the above, then enter your information in Amazon.

Do the new coils come with new mounting bolts??

No it sure don't come with no new bolts I use a self-tapping screw you just got to find one long enough it will secure it a little better
