How do you wash the cushion? Is there a removable cover?

The cover is not removable. I would wipe it down with something like a Clorox wipe and let it dry. Have not had any issues with retained moisture, smell etc. very happy with this cushion .

What are the seats dimensions?

the Concept2 seat is approximately 12 inches by 10 inches. This seat cushion fits it perfectly and gives just the right amount of padding. Good for both sprints and long rows

Pros/cons of the model 3 vs the model 2 for a 230lb 6' guy? seems like gel would be better as it doesn't completely compress flat like foam will.

The Model 2 cushion will likely feel more like a padded cushion with increased comfort. I would expect the model 2 cushion to be more comfortable overall than the model 3 cushion. The model 3 adds some comfort and is great for people that want a thinner cushion, but its not usually as comfortable as the model 2.
