It's 50 containers. I received 2 packs of 25. The 100 pieces is counting the covers.

Are these food-grade? Safe to store spices?

Our cosmetic containers are made of BPA-Free polypropylene. With PS (polystyrene ) bottle body & PP (polypropylene) lid. They're Safe to store spices.

Can you place lip balms with essential oils in these, or would the oil degrade the plastic then leak out?leak

I use mine to hold mica powders. They don't leak those, so I would think that it would work for that, too. Just my best guess, I'm afraid.
