Eats dog hair and wood stove debris. A+
I do not use this as my primary source of cleaning the house. It is used for edges and light touch up on hard wood floors with rugs. I cleaned the floors with the regular vac and use this one daily to keep up with a shedding dog. It eats dog hair, lego and anything smaller than a nerf bullet left on the ground. It will not remove dog hair from a rug that has been stepped into the fibers but will keep your house clean if you use it daily for touching up. It is really handy around the wood stove where bark falls off. Keep an eye on it if your stove is hot. It cleans the crumbs off the kitchen floor and does a nice job of sucking up and sweeping over the dog hair that floats into the corners.Maintenance is easy. Remove the dirt caddy and sweep out the junk. Tap the air filter a few times and re-install. Keep an eye on your brush, you can easily remove it with the two bottom tabs and then lift up on the rubber grommet side. Carefully pull up the rubber grommet and remove any hair that wraps round the brush. Sweeper arms will also get a little tangled with hair after several uses. Pop them off and remove string or hair. Front free wheel pops out easy with a flat head and you can clean the wheel up in seconds. Keeping the unit maintained and clean really helps the performance of the machine. IT will work ok if you just dump the trash caddy, but it will work great if you maintain the robot.Keep an eye on stuff that can be knocked over and rare lego parts. This unit will man handle things to get around the corners. I have knocked plants off of stands that were not really secure to begin with. I also search the bin for lego and anything else of value that may have been swept up. I found a sapphire pendant last week. :(For the money, this little robot is a good deal. It's simple to use and maintain. It does a great job of keeping the house looking good. I doubt you could put it in a dirty house and expect it to magically clean your floors. I like running this unit and taking care of it. It's my first robot vac. I was skeptical because my friend purchased an 800 dollar robot and killed it in a week. He put it on a dirty cabin floor and did not maintain it. I think the point of these is to keep your house floors maintained, not to clean a dirty floor that has been neglected. If this ones craps out I will let you know and purchase another one simply because it has already paid for itself in time savings.

Working better
I bought the Tenergy TRV01 on Amazon Prime Day. Six weeks later, results are definitely mixed. Positive: it DOES pick up quite a bit of random dust missed by conventional vacuum. Negative: Roaming pattern is random, misses quite a large area. It almost seems to get “distracted” by chair legs, changes direction and misses spots. It tends to brush small particles away rather than picking them up. The suction on it doesn’t seem adequate, won’t pick up the bits of leaves tracked in by my dogs. Error code 06 (roller brush) began popping up. Cleaned it, inspected for debris or obstructions, but error code keeps coming up. The dustbin is small, needs to be emptied after each 20 minute use. There is a phone number to call with problems, but a recorded line. Only 24 hours since I called, so maybe someone will get back to me. If not, will be asking Amazon if it can be returned. I foolishly discarded the packaging, so may be stuck. It just seems that for the $200 it cost, results should have been more satisfactory.PS—a company rep returned my call, they are sending a new roller brush, and have promised a new robot if that doesn’t resolve the problem. So I’m giving an extra star for responsive customer service.I have installed the new roller brush and the device is working better. It is not as powerful as electric broom-type vacuums, but it does a decent job on everyday dirt and dust. The company was very responsive to my call, so upping my rating to 4 stars.

Malfunction after 6 months of use of the first, 2nd no problems in about 18 months
I loved it until it started to give me an error message that stopped my Otis after a few seconds. I contacted the company, they take about a week or more to reply and after 4 emails they told me that the warranty was expired. It is clearly written 1 year for replacement. After I mentioned that fact they stopped replying. Will not buy again, too expensive for a 6 months use.*UPDATE* After a second series of emails and a couple of months they send me a new robot. I will change my rating to 5 stars if it still works great in a year from now! :)*NEW UPDATE* after 18 months of use, the replacement robot works like a charm, no bug. Happy!

Otis is the best!!
I really wasn’t sure what to expect from this being there weren’t any reviews at the time I purchased, but I am so glad I did. I’d read lots of reviews from all the other ‘robo vacs’ and really didn’t find a clear cut ‘Best’ (short of the $800 Roomba of course!). But having owned a previous roomba that eventually became an expensive plastic door stopper and then to goodwill, I wasn’t overly enthusiastic about getting another and let’s face it; I’d rather spend 2 than 8 if possible. From my research, I new that I wanted at least:1100 Pa suction- (check- 1200 Pa).7 L dustbin- (check- .9L)1 year manufacturers warranty- (check- 2 once registered)Carpet use- (check)Alexa compatibility- no check :(But that last one got me thinking...do I really need itThe box arrived promptly. I was pleasantly surprised that it was about 90% charged. I attach the spindle brushes Howard it on let it charge to 100%. I set the time and date for the scheduling options, pushed the start button on the remote and let Otis do his thing. I watched him go under barstools and get apparently stuck. I thought to myself… Here it goes again another waste, but just as I was about to ‘rescue’ him; somehow, he figured it out and was back at work cleaning. He went into the non-barricaded rooms and handled the carpet with ease as well as the transition from carpet to tile and back. I left to run a few errands and when I came back I could not believe how much was in the dust bin. I keep the floors clean, or so I thought, but Otis took it to the next level.I’m elated with my selection and will be ecstatic if Otis runs like this through the 2 year warranty period!
