It does exactly as it is supposed to do. It holds a surprisingly large number of keys for its size. It is very sturdy and well-made. It is mounted by the back door to keep all the "extra" keys for various outdoor equipment. The different colored key tags help organize the keys.

It is not Fort Knox, It will keep keys organized and non motivated individuals at bay. Simple to set combination. Perfect for the organization I need for the keys I utilize.

I purchased this key cabinet to organize the multitude of keys for cars, bikes, bicycles, lock around my home. It is slim, durable and light weight so I mounted it on the wall behind a door convenient to get into regularly. I was impressed it came with enough key tags to label every key I had. The cabinet uses a key to open and close the key box. A handle with lock would have been nice, but you must use the key to open and close and secure this door lock. I just keep the door lock key on a magnet hanger on the side of the box in my home. I am very happy with the quality and easy use and installation of the cabinet and would recommend it to a friend.

This worked well to get all my various keys for my shed, sliding glass doors, liquor cabinet, and gun cabinet into one spot that could be easily tucked out of sight, but still quickly accessed in time of need.

I bought this key cabinet to hold 15 keys - including four vehicle key fobs. It held all of the keys and fobs OK. However, two of the fobs had to be loaded on the upper key holders by themselves. Part because of their width (took two hook spaces) and part due to their thickness. Had to place the two on the swinging door front. They were a bit too thick for back plate and when closing the swinging door - one would set off vehicle alarm (too tight). The other two fobs also required mounting across four hooks. Found that the bottom hooks on all four surfaces (back wall, inside door, and both sides of swinging plate) were just too low to actually hang house keys on - worked for a few lock box keys though. Overall, the swing plate, on the unit I received, was well mounted and firm. The plate holder is malleable, easy bend tighter or looser. Could easily be moved to not hold center plate in place. Also the metal, although firm, is thin - but no problem with shape or alignment. Works well for it's purpose. Finally, the combination lock works (although I set it back to its default 0-0-0 since I'm not concerned with security. This key holder is NOT a security safe and should not be used as one - but for holding keys, it will do the job. I just don' t see how it will hold 48 keys efficiently or so that those on bottom hooks don't fall out of bottom of case.

Perfect to lock my rifle keys and tag them by rifle caliber.
