Quality of product
The battery life was not as advertised. It is 4-5 months old product and i am not using it with heavy graphic. Most demanding is Netflix. The battery, when i switch on the laptop last 2-2.5h max which is something I would expect after 5 years

Nice unit, feels very high quality, great screen. Battery life is about 6-8 hours, depending on what tasks are being ran. It can be used as a tablet, but feels awkward completely folded and quite a bit heavier than a tablet. Better to set it like /\. Not every application supports all touchscreen functions, like flipping pages, but its not laptop's fault. Very fast power up-10 seconds or so, no lock ups so far. I ordered Thunderbolt hub for it, I will update once its all hooked up with 4K monitor and my other peripherals. So far I am happy with the purchase. Update: Had an issue with touch pad locking up-stuck in numerical mode. Reset to original config and problem went away. Connected Thunderbolt dock and separate dongle for DP cable. So this laptop does output 4K@60HZ through DP.

You get a lot for your money but it's also a lot of money. The first thing that stands out is just how solid it feels, the build quality is excellent, no flex, no creaks and nothing stands out as potential week points. The screen is bright, sharp and vibrant. The aspect ratio makes for a surprising and plesent experience both browsing and working with word, Excel etc. If you're a photographer get ready to wear a cheesy grin for days. Keyboard and trackpad are fine, not unpleasant but also not outstanding and I've yet to find a proper use for the number pad feature. Speakers are great as long as you have some sort of surface to bounce the sound off but a bit muffled and quieter working on your lap. Internals zip along quite nicely but are slightly let down by the HD, it can stutter a bit when you push things a bit. Gaming is a bit hit or miss, some work better than others even though they require the same minimum specs. It took a lot of effort to click that 'buy' button and it was at the very top of my budget (plus a little extra the wife didn't know I had stashed) but I'm not disappointed. It does everything I need it to do, and then some, in a size and weight that doesn't make feel like I'm doing a workout like my last laptop.

This computer feels solid and well-built in your hands. Using it, you feel like you are interacting with a high-quality device, and that's worth more than it sounds. The keys feel nice, the backlighting is lovely and much appreciated in low light, the screen is sharp, the sound is loud and full, and at least so far, there have been no defects or problems. No heat issues either, which some people have mentioned. The touchpad has always been something I hate using, but this one is the best so far. Add to that the dedicated number pad it provides - something I dearly miss on machines of this size - and I'm pleased as punch! People have complained that the power key is where the delete key should be and I agree. I have pushed the power button and shut off the computer by accident a few times (but I will learn). Anyway, people seem to get all excited about it - it can give you quite a scare when you're in the middle of something important - but all you need to do is touch the power button again and the machine instantly turns back on and you're back where you just were. To be honest, I was not all that excited about the price vs features on this device compared to what Dell was offering, based on things that were important to me. However, Dell wanted to make me wait 2 months (and their customer service was about as bad as any I have ever encountered), while this one came in 2 days, and Amazon's customer service is the best I've ever seen. That said, I'd prefer a dedicated power supply input and a dedicated audio jack, while this computer uses up 2 of its 3 USB ports for such things. A full-size SD card reader instead of a mini would also be preferable.

One of my best purchases on Amazon! This sleek lightweight laptop has in it everything needed for work on the go! Great fast processor and nice amount of space for heavy software! I purchased a refurbished one and couldn’t have been more satisfied!

I got my Flip S 1-2 weeks ago (4K OLED Touch | i7-1165G7 | 1TB). So far, it has been as expected. This replaced a 4-year old, lower-end ASUS that I was generally happy with (ZenBook UX330UA-AH54 13.3-inch | Core i5 Processor, 8GB DDR3, 256GB SSD) but started to have battery issues and was under-powered at this point. Pros: - The screen is awesome. - Overall build quality seems good. Very stable screen when I'm using on my lap. - I like the keyboard--both the travel of the keys/feel of the keys and also the layout. My prior ASUS had the same size keyboard (but with a buffer on the sides instead of the home/pgUp/pgDn/end on the right), so I was used to it. I like the layout of having those home/pgUp/pgDn/end keys on the right. - And I like that the power button is no longer at the top right on the keyboard. (That drove me nuts on my prior ASUS.) - Touchpad. The touchpad is a massive upgrade. And I find that I use the number pad feature more than I thought I would. Complaints from other reviews (here and elsewhere) that don't bother me: - Shiny screen. This is true and means you have to raise the brightness to compensate. This impacts battery life, but that doesn't effect me much as (i) I am usually able to plug in, (ii) when I'm not, I am usually on a <4 hour flight, and (iii) I carry a massive backup battery. - Wobble when in tablet mode. I noticed this the first time I used it. I haven't noticed it since. Not a big deal. - Fingerprint magnet. True, but not as bad as others have said and I don't really care anyway. - No headphone jack. This doesn't bother me, as my Android had USB-C so all my headphones have the adapter on already. - Power button on the side. I haven't accidentally hit it yet. Sometimes I think I've pressed it and haven't, so have to press a little harder, but that seems like a feature (against accidental pressing) - Fan noise. Hasn't been a big issue, but I haven't pushed it that hard. Cons: - Would be nice to have a fingerprint reader Other: - As is often the case, I had to run a ton of Windows updates when it arrived. There was some strange behavior before, but it all went away after the updates. - Performance: TBD. I haven't done any video editing, etc.
