I somehow stumbled across this Dupad remote one night and figured wth for the price and ordered and I'm so glad I did. This remote is almost life changing, especially with the cursor option that works flawlessly and is something that should be built into the shield remote. A lot of apps are had to navigate with a directional pad still. Having a full keyboard is awesome for looking up movies and typing web addresses. I think the complaints from people using this with the sheild must of gotten a bad remote because mine was simply plug and play and all buttons work as they should. Also at this price I don't mind if for some reason I have to replace it sooner than later. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great and you can't beat the price for all the features you get. *by D***N on February 21, 2017* Great remote and works as advertised. There were some users complaining that the back button did not work but I took a chance and ordered it anyway since $15 is so cheap. To my surprise, the "Back" button worked for me if the mouse pointer was turned off. I am using it with a Raspberry Pi3 with OpenELEC/Kodi installed on it. The pointer is no problem for me to use and actually pretty good but I prefer scrolling through the menu options with the directional buttons and using the back button. Occasionally I'll toggle on the mouse pointer which is very easy by pressing 1 button to turn it on or off. Note: The wife can't handle the pointer at all. (LOL). You really can't beat this remote for the price. I bought this and the one with the backlit keys/keyboard. Only complaint is no backlit keys or keyboard. They are while letters and easy to see in low light but not with all the lights off while watching a movie. I wish someone would make one with all of the keys programmable like this one but also include the backlit keys, which this one does not. The backlit version I purchased is great too but you can only program the 4 color function buttons on the bottom. I did program all of the keys to control my surround sound and TV and it works. I had to do a couple of them several time but eventually they all worked. I can use this one remote to turn on my TV, Surround sound, and adjust the volume and change the inputs. The only thing you can't do is turn on a Raspberry Pi. You can turn it off but once there is no power to the dongle in the Pi, you can't turn it back on. Teaching the buttons wasn't hard and it took me maybe about 5mins to do it.I have a Nexus player that I'm using it with and it works perfect. Home, back, play/pause and of course the directional buttons. I was surprised the mic work when using the mic icon on the Nexus player. The cursor also works but I'm not a big fan and I wish I can deactivated permanent but I can't.This remote does exactly what the description says I just wish there was couple changes.It doesnt have backlight which is nice to have since you have to hit "tv" if you're using the RF and want to lower or raise the volume.
