I cant afford a generator or back up water powered sump pump right now so I decided to try this. I am impressed; I tried it and it has really good suction power, emptying a 5 gallon bucket in less than a minute. It appears to be more powerful than 1/2hp pumps I have used in the past and its cheaper and simple to use. For the benefit to cost this is a no brainer.
