Press and hold the LIGHT key for 2 seconds from there use the hour and minute keys to make sure it is set at 8pm (which is should be because that is the default). Then tap the LIGHT key and set this at the time you want the green light to turn off. If you want the green light to come on at 7am I would set this time at 8am (which means the green light will stay on for 1 hour just in case they sleep in it will be on to let them know it is ok to get up). Tap the LIGHT key for the last time and set the time at 7am. This last time is setting the time you want the green light to turn on. Then tap the LIGHT key to exit the set up mode.
