My fault for not reading the description carefully. I was so sure it was what I bought before and lasted for over 10 years, I trashed the packing material before I tried it in my sink. Get the strainer AND stopper if that is what you need! It’s twice as expensive but if you can no longer fill your sink to wash dishes, cheaper is a waste of money. If all you need is a strainer, this one is well made, attractive and durable.

Bought these as a replacement for the same thing I had for YEARS! Other strainers don't even compair for the value.

I've had this set for a year, and they are a step up from the cheap metal strainers for sure. However one of the two has separated from its metal ring and is no longer usable.

Y'all, it's important to know that just because it's called a garbage disposal does not mean you can regularly dump watevers into the sink drain on the daily. On the contrary, it should almost never be used. This strainer keeps everything out of the garbage disposal and saves me a lot of $ in plumbing snake bills.

These are easy to install, easy to clean, and fit my standard kitchen sink drains.

This really works. We tried other cheap light metal ones they did not stop the food from going under the drain stopper.But this drain stopper is incredible nothing gets by it it’s nice and heavy does not lift up it’s hard to move around and it’s easy to clean I’ll never get a different drain cleaner again.I give it a big thumbs up.
