You have to understand that the shades you get are very gradual. So it might take a few applications to get your chosen shade. Don't give up, just keep doing it until you get there. I'm glad it's gradual. Wouldn't want a shade lighter than I wanted. Patience is a virtue here! Thoroughly recommend this. Don't buy the expensive similar products. They all basically do the same job and so not worth forking out crazy prices. At the time of writing this (11/12/19) you have to buy 2 of them, but it's only £6.
