Will the router still have decent signal while it is inside the case?

Hi, Yes it does. However it can get quite (worryingly) warm if you use it with the case closed and zipped up. I tend to keep mine in the case and use it with the lid flipped open for ventilation and switch it off before zipping up and putting in a bag. I do like the case, it provides great protection.
