Excellent so far, it seems the force is with me!
Bought this 37cm 40 volt mower 6 months ago in April. Assembly fairly easy - took about 25 minutes. I discovered a large mulching plug in the box, but strangely, I could find no mention of it in the instructions. Charged battery for an hour. I have 3 lawns, all have wavy edges, which of course adds time to any mowing. There are 2 smaller lawns of 70 sq. metres & 85 sq. metres, both on flat ground. The third is 295 sq. metres on a very slight slope. It took me 9 minutes to mow the 70sqm lawn, but then the weather took a turn for the worse, so I brought the mower in & charged the battery. Two days later I managed to mow nearly all of the large lawn in 39 minutes before the battery ran out. After a 1 hour charge, I finished the large lawn & mowed the 85 sqm lawn & still had 2 lights showing on the battery. Although I'm no spring chicken & have some serious health problems, I found the mower very light & extremely easy to manoeuvre. The design & position of the handle is perfect for me, allowing single handed use in awkward places. It cuts well & stripes ok, although my large lawn is now pretty bumpy because of the hard, dry summer. Height adjustment is a breeze. The bag holds a lot & once I got used to it I had no problem positioning it back on the mower. I was a bit worried having seen some negative reviews regarding battery power & assembly, but I had none of those problems. I bought a second battery which was on offer & recently mowed all 3 lawns in 2 & a half hours including cleaning the mower twice & a quick cup of tea! Previously, the same job with an electric mower was taking me double the time, & I was struggling to cope with cables, extension leads & circuit breaker & eventually had to get my poor other half to do it. Now, I can do it myself! UPDATE: It's April 2023 & although a lot of reviewers recently seem to have had problems with this mower or the batteries, I am happy to report that after mowing my three lawns twice this month, both my batteries held their charges over winter & gave 39 & 36 minutes use. Still very happy!

Great Mower.
I wish I'd bought a cordless mower years ago, as it's such a relief not having to worry about extension cables and cutting through the wire. I think I was concerned that it wouldn't be as powerful as a mains-powered mower, but this one is just as effective as any I've had in the past. The assembly is a bit fiddly, but not too bad. The handle is adjustable for height and can fold down when not in use. There are seven height settings for the actual cutting blade and this is simply done with a lever on the left hand side of the body. Once it's assembled and the battery is fully charged, it's operated like most electric mowers by pressing in a button and then pulling a grab handle towards you. I've gone from a hover mower to this one which is on wheels and I much prefer the wheeled type: it's just a case of walking up and down and it gives you stripes on the lawn if that's what you're after. I've found the battery life to be very good: I can do both my front and back lawns on one charge if the grass is not too long - I'm not sure what the area is, but it's been going for about 45 minutes and still has some charge left. You can tell how much charge is left by pressing a small button on the battery and up to four green lights come on. I invested in a spare battery, so that there's always one ready to go, but the batteries are a bit pricey, so it's up to the individual and how much grass they've got to cut. Changing the battery is really simple: just lift up the flap on the battery compartment, press the release button and the battery pops up a little way out of its housing. It then fits into the mains charger which is provided. Once it's charged, just slide it back in and press until it clicks into place. There is a decent sized grass box which lifts on and off, or a mulching tool is provided if you don't want to keep emptying the box. I have never used this, so I can't say how well it works. It's quite a substantial machine, not the lightest, but there is a carrying handle. It's great on the flat and with slight slopes, as long as you cut across the slope and not up and down. All in all, I'm delighted with the mower and would recommend it for anybody with a small to medium-sized lawn.

Excellent mower with diabolical battery life
Bought this to replace my corded Bosch mower. Going cordless has been a game changer - no distractions of trailing leads. For a couple of months, it was perfect for my medium sized lawn. But the battery has degraded - I get max 15 minutes use before I have to abandon my half mowed lawn and have to recharge it. Its now a massive disappointment and I wish I'd kept my Bosch. The battery should have 4 lights when charged fully and run down to 1 when nearly empty. Even after a long charge, mine illuminates only 3 lights - the capacity is degraded. And it stops working when down to 2 lights and requires a further recharge. It delivers 15 minutes, maximum. Very disappointing, I can't recommend for anyone with a reasonably sized lawn. UPDATE after 8 months: wrote to manufacturer about battery degradation. Needed a couple of follow up emails but, within 3 weeks, received replacement battery. Good response. UPDATE after 18 months: replacement battery performed well initially but, after 6 months of inactivity during Winter, has also degraded. Gives max 2 minutes use before running out of juice, irrespective of length of charging cycle. Contacted customer services again - received 2nd replacement battery. CS confirmed that shirt battery life was a know, if infrequent, issue. UPDATE after 22 months: battery failed again - lasts 10 minutes, maximum. Contacted customer services again & requested replacement mower. CS responded same day, awaiting courier collection of my mower next week. Unsure whether repair or replacement will follow. Frustrating. Don't buy one, unless you want to risk being one of 10% of reviewers with battery problems.

Battery mower
Light weight. Easy to put most together on your own. Not robust or as sturdy as last one. Good price as bought in sale. Only downside is battery can be awkward to fit. Battery and charger large

Great value 40v mower
Fantastic cordless mower, I purchased a 20v Yardforce extendable hedge trimmer last year and have been impressed so took the plunge and bought the 40v mower, I had seen mixed reviews but after using it both on long and short grass it is amazing, so much easier than my old corded mower, its light to move around and cuts great, battery lasts for both my lawns, then I put on charge for an hour and its full ready for next time. I purchased the 20v strimmer too which uses the same battery as my hedge trimmer, that's great t too, So far I can't fault it!

A must have
This year, I took the plunge and decided to order a cordless mower. A month ago, I ordered the lowest Hyundai cordless model. It was light, flimsy and did not cut the grass very well. The motor was also struggling. I decided to return it and Hyundai was very good about it. I read more reviews about cordless mowers and I came accross Yard Force. After reading good reviews, I decided to buy it. I am very impressed, very! Firstly, it is very well made. Secondly, it has a strong motor. I did my first cut with this mower today and I do not have any negative things to say about it, in the contrary. I mainly cut my grass at a height of 4.5cm and it did a great job. It collected the grass very well, and I was able to do a close cut on the hedge of my garden and around pots. I read reviews on amazon that it was difficult to set it up. A lot of rubbish! I am a women, and I set it up in 5mins. Don't listen to people who found it difficult, they just like to complain. I even did not use the instructions as it was so straigtforward. I would also add that it is not difficult to attach the bag to the mower as per reviews on amazon. I think for the price, this is one of the best cordless mower, I have seen. If you are unsure, go to shop and compare. You will see the difference. The 37cm is performant, the battery only lost a bar after a cut, the size of my garden is medium. WIth the Hyundai, I would have lost 2 bars. I will definetly buy again from Yard Force. Now, the only thing which I cannot comment on is how well it will perform over time. I usually do not write reviews, but in this occasion, I had to. Well done Yard Force. And if you wonder, I do not work for Yard Force, I just like to do my research and buy what I think is a good product. I did very well with this purchase so far!

Long term Review -Dissapointed
This is my long-term review, having purchased the mower in May 2023. This was my first cordless powered mower. It’s great that you are not restricted by a chord, and that makes the mowing the lawn so much more simpler. Without having anything to compare to, I initially thought this was a good mower, however over the long-term I’ve found it disappointing and have decided to replace it. The charger for the battery is large and bulky and feels cheap and plasticky. My frustration with the mower is the battery, as after 1.5 years I noticed the battery whilst stating it was charged, would be luck to last more than 10-15 minutes, and would often stop before I finished mowing the lawn. The grass collector is also not very good as when it get full, it spills out back on to the grass. Overall I’m disappointed as I would have expected it to last longer than it has. The mower still works, but is not practical to use due to the poor battery performance. Yes I could buy another battery, however I feeel this would be wasted money. I’ve just purchased an Einhell as a replacement cordless motor and the quality is night and day, however it is more expensive by approx another £100. The new mowever just feels solid, the mower comes with 2 batteries which means it’s not going to run out of charge halfway through, and it mows differently. Even the clipping basket when full, keeps most of the clipping in the basket It’s to early to tell if this will be. Good longterm mower, however from my first mow I’m blown away. This is the model below, if you can afford the extra I would suggest stretching your budget for the Einhell. Einhell Cordless Lawnmower with Battery (x2) and Charger (x2) 36V Power X-Change, 36cm Cutting Width, 40L Grass Box, Brushless Motor, 6 Cutting Heights GE-CM 36/36 Li Electric Lawn Mower

Quality cordless freedom!
The best word to describe this lawnmower is Wow! I'm reviewing the new LM G34A 40v model. Lot of people complain cordless mowers struggle with tall grass, they are cheap plastic and battery dies after 15mins. Not this one! Seriously,,, I cut my 2 lawns which are about 100m2, and had 3/4 battery left! I've used it 5x times now and it still only uses about 25% per cut. I never thought the battery would be this good. Well done Yard Force. Please note the charger is quite big though, but does the job. Build quality is sturdy plastic. Not toy like some other models. It has a rear roller for stripy lawns too. A little bit of assembly required with the handle. The images in the manual are tiny so you need good eyes but it's pretty straightforward using common sense. The grass box works well too. I've seen people complain about Worx, Bosch etc but the hybrid box does gather the grass really well. Not too difficult to remove and attach again. Fills up quickly! The blade is steel. This model is collapsible too fo easy storage. It's not super light but has got a carry handle. Quieter than my old Bosch corded one. All in all I'm super happy with this purchase. No more cables to worry about, cordless is the future defo! Please note this is reviewing the newer model LM G34A with 40v Samsung battery.
