Does it give the water a plastic flavor, and if it does, does it go away?

NO plastic flavor. I read about people using lemon, freezing the bag, etc. I'm very particular about water quality and lack of flavor. We have quite nice well water here, and I can't stand any off tasting city water, bad bottled water, etc. I was prepared to go through a whole process to get any residual plastic taste out of this bag, but I found that it was completely unnecessary. I washed the bag thoroughly, along with the tubing and the valves, with warm soapy water just once. There was absolutely no off taste to to the water. Hope this helps.

What's the difference between the hydraulics and hydraulics lt? i've the 3l or the 3.0l ?

The biggest difference is that the regular hydraulics has a backerplate to provide structure making it easy to remove and place back in the pack. The LT version does not have the backerplate for a lighter weight option.

Which size is best fit for Osprey Stratus 36?

I have a Manta 36 and I use the 3 liter with it! You can never have too much water!
