But these tins present a wide array of problems. I ignored the other reviews that said the tins were dented because I was feeling wildly optimistic that maybe I would be special and thus my tins would be the exception. I wasn't. They weren't. Every tin was dented. They ranged from a small but noticeable dent, to a good sized dent, to one side basically caved in. So if appearance is important to you (and hey, why wouldn't it be? Otherwise you'd be using an old coffee can and be done with it), these aren't for you. They are also difficult to open. That little round top you see? It's only there to make them stackable, if you're into that. It's not the actual lid. You have to take it off and set it aside, then pry open the internal lid underneath it - and that can take some doing. Then when you finally get it open you realize that the stacking capability is created by a large circular ledge inside the tin that takes up about a third of the available space. That big domed lid has to go somewhere when you stack them, and it goes into the big cave on the underside of the tins. That probably should have been self-evident to me when I looked at the shape of these and the word "stackable" - but it wasn't. On the plus side, they come with chalk labels! I can't comment on whether they're any good because I was too busy wondering why it's been so difficult to find a reasonably priced, reasonably sized, reasonably sealed stainless tea tin. To sum up, you'll first have to ignore the dents (or use them as hand grips if you're a silver lining kind of person), you'll have to pop off and set aside a rounded top, you'll have to pry off another lid *(recessed) and set it aside, and then you'll get to the tea leaves through a pretty small opening in a tin that holds 2/3 of what it appears to hold. But they stack! The only complaint I have is that one of the tins is missing the internal lid for one of the tins. Other than that they work great. I love that they're stackable so they take up less space on my counter. The stickers are great labels, just use some chalk to write the contents. The lids fit snugly and aren't too difficult to remove.
