Whitmor Deluxe Adjustable Garment Rack - Rolling Clothes Organizer - White and Chrome

I needed a cheap but good quality clothing rack for the apartment I just moved into (moved in a hurry and surprise surprise, my room doesn't have a closet). The rack comes in a small box that I could easily lift myself, HOWEVER! It took awhile for my mail office to get the package because it requires a signature (took 3 tries to get it to me!). Keep this in mind while ordering! It may be very hard to ship to a P.O. Box if there is no one to sign for it. The assembling was very easy and straightforward. There is a small piece of paper that comes in the box which shows you what should be in the box (all pieces are labelled with a letter: A B C D, etc on the paper as well as on the plastic each piece is wrapped in). All the main pieces are metal, so the top, sides, and bottom (where the shoes are in the product photo). The connectors (every place at a corner) is heavy duty plastic. The wheels are decent quality and move well on carpet (my carpet is very flat, so I'm not sure how it would fare on thicker carpet). Overall the quality is very good! I expected a cheap and flimsy rack when I got the opposite. It holds my clothes well (as it should)! MAKE SURE WHEN ASSEMBLING to push in the pieces VERY hard into the holes of the bottom rack. These four rods that make up the bottom piece should "pop" into place when they are pushed into the holes. (I didn't realize this at first when I was putting it together until I pushed hard haha). That's the only thing that was weird or hard about the assembling overall. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or anyone who really needs a clothing rack! (I'm actually giving this to my friend when the summer is over and I no longer require it). Definitely get this if you're in need of extra storage space for clothes!

I had to use my dining room as my bedroom because I had knee surgery and couldn't get upstairs.I bought this to hang up all my clothes during recovery. I looked at many clothes racks and reviews, I decided to go with this because it was inexpensive. Assembly fairly easy, it's not terribly sturdy but for what I needed it for it was perfect. I have a lot of clothes hanging on it and a bin of clothes on the bottom rack, I like that I can move it around sure it's wobbly but it hasn't fallen over and nothing has broken off. It works great for what I need it for and I'm glad I chose to go the cheaper route and I would buy it again if I needed another. I'm very pleased with this product.

When I first assembled it and put my clothes on it, it was really wobbly and some parts were coming undone. I took everything apart and put it back together and I reallyyy pushed all the parts together with as much force as I could muster and now it is really really sturdy! I’m using it for jean jackets and other types of heavier chunkier shirts and I’m using wood hangers so there is a lot of weight on it! So basically if you get these make sure to really push all the pieces together and it should work well!

So, I think this rack is pretty great. Granted, you get what you pay for. This rack goes together really fast. But that's because the assembly is all pressure fit. There are absolutely no fasteners. And because the pressure fits are really tight, as someone with migratory arthritis and polymyalgia I needed a little help putting it together. But if you have your full strength you should have no problem. Because everything is pressed together with pressure fittings though, I probably wouldn't trust this rack for long term clothing storage. But I just wanted it to use to hang clothes in the living room and then roll them back to my closet. And I think it it plenty sturdy for that. So at $18 it's a great price for a nice little rack that will get light use. But if you need a long term clothing storage device I would probably look for one that's a little pricier and sturdier.

After two months, I think I'm just going to dump this one and spend a little more money to get a new one. I love the appearance of it and it holds my clothes fine, but it's just not very sturdy. I couldn't get the bottom bars to go in, they just do not fit, and I see from other reviews that customer service said to use a rubber mallet? No thanks. I tried basically resting them on the edge of the holes, but they fall out if I so much as breathe on the rack. The whole thing is now leaning to one side too. Bummer, but it was a worthwhile try for $20.

I'm a working mom with two littles, one who just started big kid school, and was looking for solutions to hang ironed clothes on for our "working" days. Being a working mom who also has a 45 minute commute doesn't leave me much (ha, that's funny, let's say "any") free time during the week, so on the weekends I try my best to have five outfits for both of us ironed and ready to go. When I came across this, I was kind of shocked at the low price of 15 bucks, and snagged it thinking it might be a good solution for me although the reviews left me feeling that I might have made a bad choice. As soon as it came in, I started putting it together (please read directions...I have a habit of fixing first, and put the poles in upside down until I wrestled the directions from my two year old who then grabbed a fake screwdriver, and tried helping mom), and it took me less than ten minutes. It's simply pushing poles in, and that's about it. Once up, I wheeled it to a corner of my bedroom, and put it to use. I am a small (extra tiny) female, so my clothes aren't normally heavy, and my daughter wears a 6x in her school uniforms, so again, not that difficult for this to hold. I see a lot of people complaining about it falling down, but from my personal experience, and having it in use for over two months now, I've never had an issue. I don't honestly move it from one area to another unless I'm cleaning, and it does feel cheap when your moving it with a load, but I am careful. That's the only negative I have with this. On the bottom rack I placed a large woven basket that I lay all my "to be hanged" clothing in....and let's just say that the pile definitely is huge as I will fold all day, but I absolutely hate hanging up clothes. So with that massive pile in a basket, and clothes hung up, this garment rack still holds strong! As my work is more relaxed, I normally have two to three pairs of dressy clothes, as well as three pairs of pants (I'm a 0, so again, small weight), and three t shirts/blouses. Along with the overgrown pile of hanging clothes, my clothes for the week hanging on the pole, there is also my daughter's school uniforms hanging as well. I do five uniform outfits for her, so those are also hanging up as well. In my opinion, this garment rack will definitely hold a lot, but we are small people with not a massive weight on it. If you were a larger person with heavier coats/work jeans, then I wouldn't recommend this unless you put the work jeans on the bottom rack, and distribute the weight evenly on the pole itself in regards to coats, or heavier items. For my personal use, this has been a lifesaver! I will also say I do use this to dry clothes on it too! I'll put a towel on the bottom rack, just in case, and hang up my daughter's uniforms, or anything else I don't put in the dryer. Again, not heavy weight even though they are wet, due to our small sizes, but it does work wonderful for my use, and if I had a bigger mudroom, I would buy another to keep permanently in there.

If I could give zero stars I would. Base is cheap light weight plastic. Depth is as much as 1 shoe. Light bottom heavy. Hanging space top has short pole. Came with mo wheels & no Instructions. Awful. Don’t waste your money. Not worth ordering to try & not putting together to try. I saw a lot of good and bad reviews. The bad reviews I was hoping it was just people that were hard to satisfy. But I agree with them. Others complain that there was no instructions as well as mine did not have instructions, Some say they had to put it together with a rubber mallet and use gorilla glue or something to try to hold it together and leaning up against the wall and secure it to a wall. The hanging pole length is very short. I guess it would be okay if you wanted to spend that amount of money to hang 3-5 light items or 3 coats. Waste of money. I suggested spend an extra 5 to 8 dollars and get a better one I’m good about it but I can’t

I’ve had a similar rack before, and this one is very sturdy and well designed by comparison, especially for the price. It barely even wobbles unless you shake it. Where people have had issues of collapse, I think it’s because when assembling it you MUST use a mallet or a hammer (if using a hammer, protect the surface with a towel or something so you don’t dent it) to really drive the posts all the way in! The posts won’t push in at all let alone all the way unless you hit it with a mallet (I used a rubber mallet). Then it goes in rather easily. I assembled it in about 10 minutes once I figured that out. Easy! Start at the base and work up, referring to the diagram and using common sense. Also, there are 2 white small connector pieces that are packaged with the end caps to the extension rods. It took me a minute to figure out where the 2 connectors went but the diagram was actually very clear! I don’t need to use the wheels, so I can’t comment on that, but I’d imagine that wheels might lessen the stability. It sits beautifully on a hard floor without them though. I highly recommend this for light use and would purchase again.

Zusammenbau "idiotensicher" und ganz ohne Werkzeug zu bewerkstelligen. Insgesamt eher für leichtere Kleidungsstücke geeignet, also nicht zu viel Gewicht draufhängen.

This is perfect it's strong & the bars are so much thicker than previous clothes rails I've had. The weight of my clothes didn't make the rail sink on 1 side. Because the side bars are not a screw round to tighten like others. This is also a great price. 5 🌟 rating highly recommended & fast delivery. Many thanks.

Quite a good garment rack that once assembled is very robust. Unlike some garment racks I feel like I could completely fill the rack with heavy clothes and not worry about it bending or breaking. I haven't used the wheels and it feels very stable without them. The only (minor) gripe is it's a bit fiddly to assemble. Specifically the four small spacer rods the separate the base. If they could make that easier it'd be a five star.
