3 1/2" Waterless Trap Seal

purchased the 3.5 inch waterless trap seal and works like a charm to get rid of any bad drain smells as well as stopping drain flies from coming out! highly recommend to anyone facing bad bathroom / laundry room smell issues!

Super product, 4 stars - too expensive, make it cheaper please

Works great! Definitely worth it and the size was correct! I like the way that if your basement did flood it has a “valve” that will open to let water down the drain but it won’t let fumes up into the space.

The product would be 5 stars if they could actually get the dimensions proper as per the manufacturer's website. It is well built and sturdy design, but outer tolerances are off as I ordered based on fit range in millimeters from Green Drain website. I have verified my inside drain diameter, and it should have a slight friction fit, but instead just slides into drain without any resistance. At the moment I have cut a band from a bicycle inner tube, and wrapped it around the outside to provide enough friction fit so it doesn't fall down into the trap below.

Did the trick, no more drain smells....

Stopped the smell, but also stopped the water flow, now I can't remove it as it's suctioned stuck! Will have to spend £100s to get this device removed from my pipe by lifting the shower tray up.

I think the bad reviews are for small drains. That said I’m using this in a 5” basement floor drain that goes straight into the sewer. My washer and utility sink drain into it, and it has no P Trap in the concrete floor. It smelled like the house sewer, stunk up the whole basement and house. Because of the immediate bend in the drain a Sureseal wouldn’t work. I popped this in and it’s been working for weeks without a problem. I’ve been very happy with it. I’ll probably buy a few spares, but it has been holding up to a house of 4 washing clothes, utility sink use, and a 3 Ton AC condensate drain line. It can handle a high flow of water, (like many many many gallons at a time) so I’m not sure what the negative reviews are about it draining slowly are about - probably bad plumbing and not the device itself.
