This is the only reason I have not purchased.** A: Update on my review: I attached this on 11/30/20. Today is 3/19/21 and it’s still sticking to the back of our iMac. The important piece of information is this: make sure you press in on the suction cup before you use the lever to ‘lock’ it in. (There was a typo in my earlier review, it should have been dated 1/14). **Q: Does it work while charging?** A: Yes it does! It comes with a charging cable and adapter for computers **Q: Does this come with the softening diffuser?** A: I am interested in this bundle, however it does not include the diffuser. The diffuser is not even available by itself in their website. I wish they add the diffuser in this bundle. **Q: The legs on the stand do not lock in place. Is that a defect or does the unconventional screw head at bottom of stand require tightening?** A: The legs fold down and indeed do lock. Check it again. I thought mine was broken too until I figured that out. Open the tripod legs so that the LumeCube painted label is facing to the inside, turn the ring at the top clockwise until it tightens (its easy to literally “spin it”, at first). That ring locks the legs in place. Next screw on the extendable pole followed by the light. Voila. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Changes everything *by L***E on 3 November 2023* Fabulous for zoom. Changes everything. Lovely lighting. I keep mine plugged in on zoom calls to ensure light remains on full power. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth it *by G***A on 23 November 2021* Very happy with this purchase. The light suits my needs. ### ⭐ Great Idea, Poor Quality *by B***L on 26 July 2024* TLDR - great idea in theory, but mine stopped working properly within a month As we now work from home more, I wanted to make my video call set up look more professional. Enter the ‘Lume Cube’. It throws a lot of light at many different colour temperatures, which is great. However, the diffuser isn’t really strong enough at high settings and the battery life isn’t great when you turn it up. It means you’ve got to have it plugged in all the time. However, the biggest issue is that after about a month it developed a flickering (see video) when it is off and plugged in. Naturally this makes it useless for its intended purpose unless you swivel it away. I am yet to hear back from Luke Cube customer services. Pros: - Bright - Multiple light temperatures - Manual controls, not software Cons: - Flickering LEDs when off - Low battery life at high settings - Needs a stronger diffuser ## Frequently Bought Together - Lume Cube Broadcast Lighting Kit Live Stream Webcam Light for Computer & Laptop Enhance Video Calls Streaming & Vlogging Include Adjustable Tripod & Clip Mount Adjust Brightness & Color Temperature - Logitech C922x Pro Stream Webcam – Full 1080p HD Camera, Black - UGREEN USB C Hub 4 Ports, USB C to USB Hub with 4 USB 3.0, Powered USB C Splitter for Laptop, MacBook Pro, iMac, iPad Pro, Chromebook, Dell XPS, iPhone 15/15 Pro, Galaxy S23, and More, 0.5FT --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/287903428-broadcast-lighting-kit-webcam-light-for-computer-video-conference-lighting](https://www.desertcart.in/products/287903428-broadcast-lighting-kit-webcam-light-for-computer-video-conference-lighting) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
