We set the tub in a base of Structo-lite upon recommendation by a plumber for its light weight and strength. The tub in place with the Structo-lite base is very sturdy, has no give in the bottom and no cracking. It has been in place for 6+ months with no problems whatsoever. Know, though, that it takes a WHOLE lot of water to fill this tub... more hot water than you may have! Those long hot soaky baths may always be a dream until you get a larger or an auxiliary water heater to supplement your hot water supply. Be sure to buy the associated drain system. Also note that this tub does not have a tiling flange. There is a kit that will allow you to set it in an alcove with a tile or other type of surround. Review: DEEP Soak!! - We bought this for our remodel because we had a limited amount of space and money for a tub. The overflow sits at the very top so you can fill it VERY deep - I believe it is 21" to the overflow. Very comfortable bath and for the money I don't think it can be beat. Installation was a bit of a pain though because of how tall the tub is. You will need another person to help hold things while securing the drain to the tub - definitely not a single person job. Make sure to order the correct drain kit for this tub - you have to use the manufacturers kit and can't go off the shelf for this one. Overall we have been very happy with this purchase. ## Features - Capacity: 87.0 gallons ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00198F7VE | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,185,196 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #67 in Drop-In Bathtubs | | Brand | American Standard | | Brand Name | American Standard | | Capacity | 87 gallons | | Color | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 111 Reviews | | Finish Type | white | | Finish Types | white | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00033056699331 | | Included Components | Bathtub, Installation Manual | | Installation Type | Drop-In | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 60"L x 36"W x 21.5"H | | Item Type Name | Soaking Tub | | Item Weight | 76.1 pounds | | Manufacturer | AMMM9 | | Manufacturer Part Number | 2771V002.020 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Limited 1-Year warranty | | Material | Fiberglass , Plastic | | Material Type | Fiberglass, Plastic | | Model Number | 2771V002.020 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 60"L x 36"W x 21.5"H | | Shape | Rectangular | | Style | Contemporary | | Style Name | Contemporary | | UPC | 033056681664 033056699331 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** American Standard - **Capacity:** 87 gallons - **Color:** White - **Finish Type:** white - **Installation Type:** Drop-In - **Item Weight:** 76.1 pounds - **Material:** Fiberglass, Plastic - **Product Dimensions:** 60"L x 36"W x 21.5"H - **Shape:** Rectangular - **Style:** Contemporary ## Images ![American Standard 2771V002.020 Evolution 60 x 36-Inch Deep Soak Drop-In Bathtub, White - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61SdjOp+RsL.jpg) ![American Standard 2771V002.020 Evolution 60 x 36-Inch Deep Soak Drop-In Bathtub, White - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81lZeC1NP9L.jpg) ![American Standard 2771V002.020 Evolution 60 x 36-Inch Deep Soak Drop-In Bathtub, White - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61jbW9nDcZL.jpg) ![American Standard 2771V002.020 Evolution 60 x 36-Inch Deep Soak Drop-In Bathtub, White - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/919zlUk6OmL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love my tub! *by D***G on June 12, 2019* The tub is amazing.
