Mc-720 Non-Contact Forehead Thermometer

This one is hard to read the little sign on the edge. The tiny sign of sound on/off or anything that shows on the screen is really small and the lights won’t turn on as you wish. The lights turn on when they read your temperature. I don’t recommend this products. It’s a bit complicated to turn on and off too. I shouldn’t have listened to my husband and I should’ve purchased whatever I wanted.

It is really easy to use. And its really accurate. Just need to read the manual first. Pls note that "Lo" means that the temperature taken is too Low for the thermometer to register. After taking the temperature, the "head" indicator will blink for a few seconds. During this time, the next temperature CANNOT be taken. If taken, it will show "Error". Just wait for a few seconds for the "head" indicator to stop blinking and it is ready to be used again.

Terrible design. The screen never really turns off, it keeps showing room temperature and drains the batteries even when you’re not using it. Every time you need to take a measurement — usually when someone is sick — the batteries are already dead. On top of that, the cover is screwed down, so changing them is slow and frustrating. Accuracy is also lower than cheap market thermometers. Definitely not worth the money.

I can't find the right batteries for this thermometer. It reads low battery.

As I only use this occassionally, I find the controls somewhat obscure There is a start button and an on button Never sure which one to hit first as display seems to always be on abc showing room temp

Omron Mc-720 Thermometer read more than 1deg high. Certainly not suitable for medical office or even home use.

Even tho it took a while to received the unit - this is understandable due the current situation globally. Item received in good condition and packed well. Initial test/use of the product is ok, easy to use.

Very handy and ergonomically designed with minimalistic design. Build quality is pretty good, does not feel cheap at all like other ir guns. Omron is a brand one can trust. There were some basic confusions in the reviews, trying to clarify a bit from my experience. 1.Lots of people complained about temp unit change from C to F, but it is really simple, just need to follow the steps as mentioned in the booklet. When the display shows ambient temp, press and hold START button, press ON button and hold it for 3 -4 sec (keep start button pressed at that time as well), C will change to F or vice versa. 2. Lo will be displayed on taking forehead temp if the forehead is little wet or sweaty. Forehead should be absolutely dry to get correct temp. Er 1 will be displayed if successive reading is taken within 5 sec.

Non si sente il suono. La luce accende in ritardo e solo dopo avere premuto per la valutazione. Delusione totale .non è alla altezza dei prodotti Omron in mio possesso. non vale la pena comprarlo solo per la sua bellezza esterna e per una buona confezione.

I’ve found this thermometer to be quite frustrating because the readings are highly inconsistent. The accuracy seems to depend entirely on your technique; if you aren’t at the exact 1–3 cm distance, or if the person has a bit of sweat or has just come in from the cold, the results vary significantly. The "Environmental Sensitivity" is also a major drawback. You have to let the device acclimate for at least 30 minutes if you move it between rooms with different temperatures; otherwise, you just get a "Lo" error or an inaccurate reading. Even when stationary, I’ve experienced "Sequential Variation" where taking three readings in the same minute gives me results differing by as much as 1.5°C. It’s hard to trust a medical device when you can't get the same number twice in a row.
