I then went back to the first cord and computer and it now worked correctly. I'm thinking that the connector was too tight and wasn't connecting properly. After multiple plugins, it loosened up and then was making correct contact. **Q: I have a class assignment to build a wifi camera that can be accessed via phone (app), will this work for that purpose?
