It is naturally sweet, but I'm still used to having a bit more sweetness to my tea, so I did put a dollop of Wildflower Honey in it, and I really enjoyed it. I couldn't wait to try it after reading all of the reviews posted here, and before I knew it, I drank three cups of it back to back, using the same initial teaspoon of tea in my tea ball strainer. It contained a whole star anise which is what I think helped it stretch to three cups. Since the first experience, I have had one cup in the afternoon or evening before my meal. Overall, it's one of the best teas I've had. In fact, instead of losing weight, I put on 50 lbs. over those 10 years! It didn't matter what I did as far as dieting and exercising, the pounds kept piling on. I first used Chef Jeff’s Detox Tea, followed by this diet tea.First off, while I liked the flavor of the Detox Tea better, this Diet Tea did taste good, too. Second, I don't know if it was the sweet flavor of the tea or the properties of the tea, but I stopped craving sweets and fried foods. Or maybe it was the healthy diet that Chef Jeff provides with this tea. In any case, I don't EVER feel hungry! I am eating real food, whenever I’m hungry -- and I am losing weight (about a pound every 2-4 days! It's been 4.5 weeks since I’ve started, and I've lost 10.5 pounds -- and I'm still losing weight. I've still got about 80 lbs. to go, but for the first time in more than 10 years, I honestly believe I've got a chance. Oh, and how this has made me feel? Absolutely wonderful! To me, that is amazing. However, the most shocking thing of all? My cholesterol.
