And then, I started to get mysterious pops and hum, sometimes even when the TV was off. I tried to shield the subwoofer cable with a neoprene sleeve. It worked okay if I placed it just right. But invariably it would get moved and the pop and hum were back. It did nothing for the rattle, which I assumed was just inevitable. BUT THIS CABLE FIXED IT ALL IMMEDIATE. Shocked. Just shocked. The Irish Red cable runs from the subwoofer transceiver box to the amp’s subwoofer jack. I used the grounding wires to attach to the back of the amp and I o my blue ray player.
